Beforehand uses an embedded wallet that is non-custodial.

What This Means​

  • When you sign up, a wallet is created through Privy using your phone number
  • You own the wallet
  • Your trading balance comes from USDC in that wallet

Chain and Token​

  • Launch uses: ERC20
  • Markets use: USDC (USD Coin)

Network Details​

Currently EVM compatible, network undecided.

Network details will be confirmed before launch. The experience works the same regardless of the underlying chain.

Security​

Since your wallet is non-custodial:

  • You control your private keys
  • Beforehand cannot access your funds
  • You can export your wallet if needed
  • Your funds are secured by blockchain technology
