Pools, Percentages, and Estimated Payout
Pool Percentages
The market shows the current pool split.
Example: YES pool is $7 and NO pool is $3. The UI shows 70 percent YES and 30 percent NO.
info
This is not a price you can sell into. There is no early selling. The percentage is a live view of how the pool is split.
Estimated Payout
Before you place a trade, the app shows an estimated payout.
- What it means: It estimates what you would receive if that side wins
- It uses the current pool sizes and your current position
- Live updates: The estimate updates as the pool changes
- Fees: Fees are applied before the estimate is shown
Example Format
"If NO: $5.00 → $9.75"
This means: you would add $5 to NO. If NO wins and pools stay similar, your total return could be about $9.75.
How Payouts Work
When a market resolves:
- Winners split the total pool proportionally
- Your payout is based on how much you contributed to the winning side
- Fees are deducted from winnings (not from your initial trade)
- Payouts are distributed automatically to your wallet
